Are non competes legal?

Transcript

The short answer is yes, depending on the state that you're operating in. In both Ohio and Florida, they are legal, as long as they're limited in scope and duration. So if you do have a non-compete or are trying to get out of one, I would suggest contacting an attorney to have it reviewed, so that you can get the best advice as to how to approach it.
