What makes a will legal?

Transcript

A will is legal depending on what state it's drafted in. There are different requirements in each state, so reach out to the attorney you live in to make sure you're getting those items covered. For example, in the State of Ohio, some people say, "I wrote my will on a napkin in a bar." As long as two people witnessed it, that can be legal. It's important to note in the State of Ohio that even if you had it notarized, if you didn't have a second witness it's not going to be legal.
